Born in Buenos Aires, studied under painter Raul Russo from 1951-1954. He lived and worked in Paris from 1951-1954 studied with Andre' Lhote and Ossip Zadkine, then in 1955 returned to Buenos Aires and studied with Rafael Onetto. He moved to LA in 1955 and began to exhibit. He had a one man show in BA at the Museum of Modern Art and showed in "the Latin Americas at the Institute for Contemporary art in Washingont DC

The Tesoros del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes states that as of 1958 Kemble began to experiment with the black and white images as this one when he studied Japanese Calligraphy.
