Charles Bragg (1931-2017)

Born in Missouri and raised in New York Charles Bragg now lives in California.  He has recieved world wide recognition for his satirical studies of mankind.  He has done work for Playboy, Mother Jones and the New York Times.  His works are found in the permanent collection of the Pushkin Museum, Gallery of Modern Art in Milan, Joseph Hirschhorn Museum and many others.

Bragg's works have been showcased in museums and exhibits around the world, and he has had work commissioned by Playboy magazine. In 1986, PBS made a documentary about him called "Charles Bragg - One of a Kind."[2] One of Bragg's lithographs, The Screen Goddess, is featured prominently in the opening scene of the 1992 Robert Altman film, The Player.
